The History Behind The Name of Aunt Titty's

This is the story behind the name Aunt Titty's. Eleanor and Thelma were twins who grew up in a Christian home in San Antonio, Texas. Their Father, Rev. Wiley Eli, and Mother, Elan Eli, strongly influenced the Twin's lives. At the early age of 7, the Twins discovered a passion for the culinary arts. It was said that Rev. Wiley Eli, their father, created mouthwatering dishes from beef, pork, chicken, turkey, and fish over the years. Elan Eli, their mother, was also a masterful baker who created fresh-baked delicacies like peach cobbler and the Twin's favorite dessert, pineapple coconut cake. 

As time passed and the Twins grew older, they continued their culinary pursuits throughout high school. In addition, to their culinary passions, they were the first African American "twins" to make the cheerleaders squad at Wheatley High School. After graduating high school, the Twins married and began starting their own families. Eleanor, the oldest sister, had one son Nathaniel Caffee III, While Thelma had two sons Larry Jr. the oldest, and Stephen Humphrey. At the early ages of 5, 6, and 7, their children called their aunt, Aunt Titty. In 2000, Eleanor discovered she had breast cancer. Later in 2002, she went home to glory. Thelma also struggled with fighting cancer from 1997 to 2017. 



Aunt Titty's LLC was formed in loving memories of Twins by Chef Stephen Humphrey in 2017, shortly after the passing of his mother, Thelma Eli Humphrey.
